Associate Degree Nursing General Information

The educational objective of the Associate in Science Degree Nursing (ADN) program is to prepare the student who, upon graduation and successful completion of the state licensure exam (NCLEX-RN), will be able to function as a Registered Nurse (RN) within the scope of nursing as defined by the State of California Nursing Practice​ Act.

The Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) publishes the NCLEX-RN first-time pass rates​. First-time pass rate reflects the percentage of graduates that pass the NCLEX-RN exam the first time.

Note: The NCLEX-RN licensing examination requires an applicant have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
